The main raw meterial required to manufacture night wear is cloth.
There are different types of cloths used to manufacture night wear
but night wear are mainly made of cotton cloth. Cotton cloths are
available in tans(which is called as running piece) and as 3mtrs bits.
The cotton cloths are available in various prints and in various
colours. Cotton cloths used for night wear manufacturing mainly
comes in 44 inches width and approximately 20 to 30 meters
length.[in tan]. If you buy in 3mts bits then the with will be 36 inches.
Other than cotton there are different types of meterials available
in market for night wear manufacturing. some of them are given below
1. Bissilissi
2. Swiss cotton
3. Lycra
4. Jercy
5. Satin cloth
All the above items are mainly available in tans only. Bisilissi
and swiss cotton are available in 44 inches width and lycra, jercy,
satin cloth are available in 56 inches width.
There are some mills manufacturing cotton nighty cloth in
36 inches width also. But it is always better to go for 44 inches
width cloth then to for 36 width cloth. Manufacturing in 44 inches
width cloth will be easy and also you will have less raw meterial
consumption.
In India average cost of cotton cloth of 44 width per meter
is around rupees 24 to 44.
It's up to you to decide in which quality you want to
manufacture your product.
