      Ok. let us move on to see how a ladies night wear is being manufactured. Let me tell you what are the raw meterials
         needed to manufacture ladies night wear.


          Raw Meterials Required:


   Raw meterials required to manufacture nighties are:




       1.Cloth


      2. Laces


      3. Zip


     4. Runner


     5. Lining


     6. Thread


    7. Labels


    8. Foam


   9. Elastic


            These are the raw meterials mainly needed to manufacture ladies night wear. In the above list exept cloth all others
are called as supply meterials.

Raw meterials- Cloth

The main raw meterial required to manufacture night wear is cloth.
There are different types of cloths used to manufacture night wear
but night wear are mainly made of cotton cloth. Cotton cloths are
available in tans(which is called as running piece) and as 3mtrs bits.
   
   The cotton cloths are available in various prints and in various
colours. Cotton cloths used for night wear manufacturing mainly
comes in 44 inches width and approximately 20 to 30 meters
length.[in tan]. If you buy in 3mts bits then the with will be 36 inches.
  
   Other than cotton there are different types of meterials available
in market for night wear manufacturing. some of them are given below


     1. Bissilissi


     2. Swiss cotton


     3. Lycra


     4. Jercy


     5. Satin cloth


          All the above items are mainly available in tans only. Bisilissi
and swiss cotton are available in 44 inches width and lycra, jercy,
satin cloth are available in 56 inches width.
        
         There are some mills manufacturing cotton nighty cloth in
36 inches width also. But it is always better to go for 44 inches
width cloth then to for 36 width cloth. Manufacturing in 44 inches
width cloth will be easy and also you will have less raw meterial
consumption.


        In India average cost of cotton cloth of 44 width per meter
is around rupees 24 to 44.
        
       It's up to you to decide in which quality you want to
 manufacture your product.

Raw meterials- supply meterials

     
     Welcome again,.


                           Except cloth all the other raw meterials needed for
night wear manufacturing are commonly called as supply meterials.
Some of the supply mererials are listed below.


1. Zip

2. Runner

3. Laces

4. Lining

5. Thread

6. Elastic

7. Labels


      These are the main supply meterials.


  Zip:


      The zip we use for night wear manufacture mainly comes as a roll.
there are many qualities in the zip. it is better to choose for a medium 
quality. One zip roll is of 184 yards. zips also available in single pieces,
but you better buy as a roll, because it is economical and also we can
cut what size we want.   


  Runner:


          Zip fasterner is called as runner. Runners also available in many
qualities. Always buy a good quality runner. it comes in packets. One
packet contains 2000 pieces of runner


 Laces:


          Laces are used in night wears to make it more fashionable. There
are many varities of laces available in market. laces are available is nylon
meterials as well as in cotton meterials. Once you visit for a lace shop you
can see different varities of laces in different prices choose the best lace
which suits the design of your product.


Lining:


         Lining is not used in all varities of night wear. Lining is mainly used
in night wears made of cotton. Lining is used below the neck pattern of
night wear to make the neck design more attractive.


Thread:


          As you know thread is the most important supply meterial. Choose
correct colour thread for you night wear. Thread is comming in small tubes
as well as big cones. Small tubes is of 180 meters and big cones is of
5000 meters. 5000 meters cone will be more economical for you, but it
up to you.


Elastic:


        In some night wears we use elastic instead of zip. Elastic comes as a
roll. ther are also many sizes in elastic.According to the design you
manufacture you can buy the elastic. It comes in 1/2 inches width, 1 inches
width, 11/2 inches width.Select as per your design.


Labes:


         Finaly the labels. labels represents you product in the market, so
make your unique labels. There are gendral labels available in market
but to make you product popular you want to make your unique label.
There are many label manufacturing companies. They take minimum
10000  pieces as order. contact them and have a label of your choice.

                     Night wear comes in various sizes. Starting from 1 to 6
and M for children and the sizes L,XL,XXL,XXXL for elders. Now
i tell you the sizes and the measurents for each sizes below.


Children sizes:
                  
               Size 1---------------Height = 26"  Width = 15" (inches)


               Size 2---------------Height = 30" Width = 17"      "


               Size 3---------------Height = 34" Width = 19"       "


               Size 4---------------Height = 38" Width =  21"       "


               Size 5---------------Height = 42" Width = 23"        "


               Size 6---------------Height = 46" Width = 25"        "


               Size M--------------Height = 48" Width = 27"        "


   These are the children sizes.


 About L,XL,XXL,XXXL:


              Size L---------------Height = 51" Width = 29"


              Size XL-------------Height = 53"-54" Width 31"


              Size XXL-----------Height = 55"-56" Width 33"


              Size XXXL---------Height = 56"-57" Width 36"


        These are the sizes and measurements you want to keep it
in mind when u start your manufacturing.

              Size 1-------------------0.60 cms


              Size 2-------------------0.80 cms


              Size 3-------------------1.00 mts


              Size 4-------------------1.20 mts


              Size 5-------------------1.40 mts


              Size 6-------------------1.60 mts


              Size M------------------1.70 mts


              Size L-------------------2.00 mts


              Size XL-----------------2.20 mts


              Size XXL---------------2.40 mts


              Size XXXL-------------2.60 mts

Night wear- different patterns

            Night wears are manufactured in different patterns. Some of them
are listed below:

          1. Frill type nighties

          2. Smocking type nighties

          3. Feeding type nighties

          4. Full open nighties

          5. Full sleeves

          6. Sleeveless nighties

          7. Back open nighties

          8. Coat nighty

          9.  Two piece nighty

         10. Night suit [ pant type]

                and many more.........

                        Frill type nighties are not made from high quality cloth,
because they will not look very fancy and they are mostly marketed in
villages

                   To manufacture a smoking type nighty you want to purchase
a special machine called smocking machine. it will cost around 2.5 lacs.
Using smocking machine you can create different patterns.

              Feeding type nighties are nighties which is used for the special
purpose, for mothers who are in a situation to breast feed their babies.
In this type nighties you want to attach a horizontal zip near the chest part.

           Full open is also a special purpose nighty mainly used at the time
of delivery. There is full opening from top to bottom which is closed
either by button or zip. some people wear full open nighty as a fashion.

         Two piece nighty comes as two separate pieces of nighties. One 
is called as inner and the other called as outer. Usually inner is very
simple in design and the outer will be made fancy.

         Night suit are the nighties which also comes in two parts but the
different is one is the top and the other is the pant.

        These are the various patterns that are usually manufactured. 
according to your creativtity you can manunufacture  as many
patterns as you want
